West London Islamic Centre Youth Society (WLICYC) was established to cater for the physical, social, educational and religious needs, especially for the youth and the children in accordance with the teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah leading to the pleasure of the Almighty God.

Our aim was to establish regular activities and provide services that will benefit the community. By doing this as an Ummah (group) we would also positively contribute to the larger Community as a whole and hence eliminate any negative perceptions about Islam and Muslims.

The main focus is the Muslim youth and to cater for the wider community. There is a definite need in today society to combat various evils and bad distractions for our young generation. With this in mind, HJM YC was conceived as an alternative that is both appealing and stimulating to the youth.

The daily running of the society is done on a voluntary basis. Thus, all the administration, teaching, training etc, is provided by individuals who are making a sacrifice to improve the future of the Muslim generations, in particular the Greenford area.

We want to establish a positive perception of the Muslim youth and exhibit that they are capable of constructive & effective work within the community.

Our intention is to continue to strive to make our Youth a great example & a positive influence on the other Muslim Youth and the greater Community in general.
